The Tier 4 emissions standard mandate from the EPA has had a major impact on rental and construction industry businesses and their operations. Clearly, the goals of the regulation are designed to preserve and improve health, but the rules also impact businesses making, selling, servicing, and purchasing equipment with diesel engines.
